MIAMI, FL and WYOMISSING, PA (January 7, 2014) –
Penn
National Gaming, Inc. (NASDAQ: PENN), one of North America’s largest
casino operators, and Carnival Cruise Lines, the world’s most popular
cruise line, and a brand of Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE:
CCL; NYSE: CUK), announced today that they have
formed an alliance to offer an array of cruise benefits to players’
club members at 18 Penn National-operated casinos in the United States.
Beginning
in mid-April, guests of Penn National’s casinos will be eligible to
receive complimentary Caribbean and Mexican cruises
or other cruise offers and discounts throughout the year aboard
Carnival’s 24 ships based on their level of play.

more than 1,500 cruises annually and a dozen year-round North American
embarkation ports, Carnival gives our casinos an exciting new
opportunity to thank and reward
players’ club members for their loyalty,” said Gaye Gullo, corporate
vice president of marketing, Penn National Gaming. “In the near future,
we will extend cruise benefits and promotions to virtually all our
reward card holders, so they can choose from dozens
of exciting ports of call.”
Carnival destinations include beautiful ports throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, and other destinations.
