MIAMI
(December 16, 2013) - Carnival Cruise Lines has unveiled its largest
travel professional cruise booking promotion to date with the new “50
Cruises a Day Giveaway,” launching today. Each booking made
by travel professionals between Dec. 16, 2013, and Jan. 31, 2014, will
automatically qualify them to win one of 50 cruises given away daily as
part of the promotion.
“We wanted to round out 2013 and kick off 2014 with a program to show
travel professionals that the initiatives we launched earlier
this year are here to stay and are going to continue in a big way,”
said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales. “This
unprecedented giveaway not only shows our strong appreciation for travel
professionals, but also gives them an opportunity
to immerse themselves in the Carnival product they’re selling.”
Starting today through Jan. 31, 2014, each booking made by a travel
professional will be automatically entered into the program.
Winners will be chosen at random and announced daily beginning on Dec.
23, 2013 and travel professionals may book their award cruise directly
through a dedicated toll-free reservation line.
As
part of the program, travel professionals may select from a variety of
itineraries and cruise durations departing between January and May and
bring up to three guests with them based on availability. Travel
professionals will be responsible for government fees and taxes,
gratuities and any on-board expenses.
The “50 Cruises a Day Giveaway” follows the highly popular travel agent
complimentary cruise program, launched earlier this year
as part of the Carnival Conversations travel professional outreach
initiative. Both programs were implemented directly from travel
professional feedback indicating the importance of experiencing the
Carnival product as a customer in order to market the experience
to their clients.
