AZAMARA CLUB CRUISES LAND DISCOVERIES PROMOTION
OFFERS COMPLIMENTARY SHORE EXCURSION AT EVERY PORT
MIAMI, Nov. 1, 2013 – Azamara Club
Cruises is creating even more destination-immersive opportunities for guests
looking to experience the azure waters and picturesque coastal ports of
the Mediterranean.
From today through December 15, travelers who book select
2014 Mediterranean voyages can enjoy a complimentary Land Discoveries shore
excursion at each port of call to further delve into a destination’s cultures
and ambiance.
This Land Discoveries opportunity allows guests to choose
from amongst three excursions per port and also complements Azamara’s
AzAmazing Evenings events, which are held on each voyage and brings destination
to life exclusively for the cruise line’s guests. To learn more about
the Land Discoveries promotion or for a full list of voyages, please visit

From April through November 2014, both
of Azamara’s boutique-style ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest,
will sail the Mediterranean on a variety of itineraries from the Spanish,
French and Italian Rivieras to the Greek Isles. Following the cruise
line’s guiding principle of destination immersion, each voyage features
longer stays and more overnights in port, which provides the opportunity
for night touring to experience authentic nightlife. Land Discoveries
further help create those authentic moments for guests, by using
local expert guides to take them on adventurous hikes and bike rides, shopping
and dining, historic sites and neighborhoods, vineyard tours, to name a
few.
An example of how the cruise line is
crafting voyages to reflect this philosophy is Azamara Quest’s April 11
voyage A Mediterranean Easter. This voyage offers guests the unique opportunity
to discover the great historical sites of the Mediterranean, while coinciding
with the regions elaborate Easter festivities. To start, guests will enjoy
two days in Rome where church bells peal out across the city as Palm Sunday
is celebrated. During the voyage, guests also will visit the stunning
Amalfi coast with an overnight in Sorrento, before heading to Siracusa
where a visit to the catacombs of St. John is in order. Concluding
the 11-night voyage are port calls at Trapani on Good Friday, where guests
can enjoy the lifelike floats and processions, and Livorno on Easter, where
guests can explore Tuscany and Florence.
Azamara Club Cruises offers distinct
destination-immersive experiences for up-market travelers. The cruise line
uniquely features voyages with longer stays and more overnights at ports
to provide guests the opportunity to experience night touring at some of
the most compelling destinations of Europe, Asia, South America, West Indies,
as well as Central and North America. On board the intimate Azamara
Journey and Azamara Quest, guests receive exceptional and personal service
and the cruise line’s authentic, exclusive and bespoke AzAmazing Evenings
events that showcase the unexpected colors and flavors of a destination.
Guests also enjoy fine cuisine and boutique wines from around the
world, as well as more inclusive amenities, such as included gratuities;
complimentary bottled water, sodas, specialty coffee, and teas, as well
as complimentary boutique wines, international beers and select standard
spirits in the ships’ bars, lounges and restaurants when open; complimentary
self-service laundry; English Butler service for suite guests; and shuttle
transportation to city centers in ports, where available.
