Disney Cruise Line unveils new celebrations for holidays on the high seas

CELEBRATION, Fla. – Disney Cruise Line is taking fall and winter holidays to a whole new level, introducing Halloween on the High Seas Cruises and Very Merrytime Cruises, with extra-spectacular celebrations from late September through the new year.

Disney Cruise Line kicks off the holiday season Sept. 22 with Halloween on the High Seas Cruises aboard the Disney Dream, a brand-new event with Halloween-themed parties, lively entertainment, elaborate décor and tons of spooky fun.
On all Disney ships, guests will delight in frightfully fun events and activities, special decorations, unique menu items in the restaurants and themed parties on deck during special Halloween voyages.

Winter holiday celebrations start early this year with the first Very Merrytime Cruises departing Nov. 9 on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder and Nov. 10 on the Disney Dream and Disney Magic. In the spirit of holiday cheer, Disney Cruise Line adds sparkle to each ship, with special stem-to-stern holiday events, traditional “turkey day” fanfare, Christmas feasts, “snow flurries” and New Year’s Eve galas.
